I think those (or some of those) are part of the signed guitars packages...

Oh geez. I bet Beck would do a great job. I liked his cover of Green Light, so I'll need to hear the rest of this

I found this posted on a Beck forum and was gonna share it in the Non-Sonics part, but I figure this is as good a thread as anywhere to do it:

Beck - Sunday Morning (VU Cover)

I didn't hear about Beck covering the whole VU and Nico album but if that's true, I can't wait to hear it (and his version of EVOL as well :))

perhaps more than just that one, I have a feeling (I might be wrong...) that the stickers in that pic are just a sample of what you could get, like, there's a bigger "pool" of stickers, and you get a precise number, but with mixed subjects...does this make sense :D?
a bit off topic, though....

Oh sweet, thanks, I'd not actually heard this.

Also I wouldn't count on Beck releasing both of these cover albums anytime soon. The amount of fantastic unreleased shit that man sits on is ridiculous.

NO KIDDING! I was really upset that "Buried Alive" wasn't on the OFITG reissue. Have you heard that song, Danny? Amazing.

canabero 06.12.2009 07:29 PM

it sounds really interesting.

I probably have it, somewhere, in what way was it released? Is it on one of his cassettes?

noisereductions 06.12.2009 07:55 PM

None that I've found (and I have a lot of them). He played it on a few live bootlegs from around MELLOW GOLD though. Y'know when he'd do a lot of acoustic shows. IN FACT it might be on the "Opening For Sonic Youth" Bootleg now that I think of it.....? It was also sometimes called "Burning Alive."

Danny Himself 06.12.2009 07:57 PM

Oh, I'm not a collector of live Beck boots. Or any live boots for that matter. I won't have heard this one then huh.

noisereductions 06.12.2009 08:07 PM

I'm not either. Anymore. But back in the days that I was, I was very into Beck boots. And that song has stayed with me. I don't even have it anymore, because I don't like bootlegs. But I've always wished he'd fucking release it because IT IS THAT GOOD.

Oh cool. The rhyming couplets remind me of another song that I can't put my finger on..

Magic Wheel Memory 06.12.2009 10:57 PM

Will Beck himself be on the cover, recreating the Lung Leg pose? That would be very cool.
