Porky, i'm amazed at how many people actually have the same name+surname as you. Sounded pretty uncommon to me and i can't befriend you either.

toxic johnny 05.17.2009 05:36 AM

I got the time difference wrong and missed it... :o praying that someone has recorded this.

jennthebenn 05.17.2009 09:13 AM

I got some pics and vids...not of the entire show, unfortunately, but I'll
upload on Monday.

silverfreepress (sdasher) 05.17.2009 09:35 AM

toxic johnny 05.17.2009 02:39 PM

So good people who saw the show... anything to report?...

Jef Mertens 05.17.2009 02:47 PM

seems like Thurston played till he bled!

jennthebenn 05.17.2009 03:06 PM

I need to see what Stefano G. looks like...'cause if he's the photog I'm
thinking of, then he acted like a prick that night. May not be him, but I'm curious now.

LifeDistortion 05.17.2009 03:10 PM

Seemed they didn't play songs so much as do an instrumental set. Is this common for No Fun Fest? Because that seemed to be the case with most of what I heard from the webcast.

jennthebenn 05.17.2009 03:11 PM

Yeah, No Fun is not a "song-oriented" festival.

LifeDistortion 05.17.2009 03:14 PM

That's cool, it probobly would have been better seeing it live, just all the musicans being improvisational like that, but I'm glad I caught the webcast nonetheless.

Quoting yourself is generally not for the win, but yeah, that guy WAS Stefano. Takes amazing shots, shame about the attitude on the job. In contrast with Lori Baily, who did her job and wasn't rude about it AND was cool to talk with.

LoL, yeah right :slaps own forehead: I'm going this doesn't sound like anything I've ever heard from them. Do I have the right link?

Georgekrz 05.18.2009 09:33 AM

"This is a total freak out" sort of gives you an idea. They played for 20 min., left for a bit and came back and played about 5 or 10 min. more.

jennthebenn 05.18.2009 02:04 PM

Great to meet you there, George. Was looking for Whorefrost in vain the
whole fest.

Here are some pics:

Photographer Lori Baily called this Kim's "Cookie Monster pedal".

Just Kim getting into it. She had moved the chair over so she could
sprawl and skreenk, and it paid the price!

Here are vids as promised on my page, hopefully they are enjoyed.
