in this particular regard, the chorus compliments the reality of history and so it was appropriate to cite it as reference.. |

I understand. I have that too sometimes. |

1. The Infamous is a masterpiece. Though I would say that HELL ON EARTH is actually very good, nothing else came close, save for Prodigy's RETURN OF THE MAC from 2007. But still... 2. It Was Written was a let down. And so were a lot, but he has sort of returned to almost form with his last few. But still... |

Built to Spill - Perfect from Now On I feel like they completed their whole purpose in that one record.

It is what posers do, basically. |
I love Ghost's self titled album, but I don't know if I'll ever get another of their albums. I'd like to, but it looks like my Boris and Malice Mizer obsessions will leave me without much money to spare.

I think There's Nothing Wrong With Love is better, although Perfect From Now on has some fantastic songs on it.
I've owned Illmatic for about 12 years and I love it completely, but I've never really thought about buying any other Nas records |
(Iggy and) the Stooges: Raw Power
The Ramones: Rocket to Russia The Minutemen: Double Nickel on the Dime |

I'd say "Leave Home" and "Rocket To Russia" are neck and neck in quality. I just heard Leave Home yesterday and love it Stooges FunHouse is pretty solid too, I actually have not heard Raw Power, but really enjoy FunHouse |
Elastica - Elastica
Still one my favourite records ever. I wanted to buy their second album, which accidentally contains their best song (My Sex), but never got round to it because I've listened to a copy at a friend's house, once, and thought it was a bit shit. |

"Car".

that's my 2nd favorite. "You Were Right" is perhaps the pinnacle of Doug Martsh's songwriting. |

I think that was the joke.
.....I hope. |

awesomeness though. |
After Rodan split the various members were involved in a large number of other musical projects though.
|
Music is in the best place it's ever been right now in terms of what's available, just remember to use it to your advantage, not as a detriment to progress.
|
Some of the post-Rodan stuff I prefer to Rodan (i.e. anything Tara Jane O'Neil is involved with)
|
Maria Verbeck.
|
I think member(s) of Rodan were in June of 44 and the Shipping News...? both good bands but I definitely prefer Rodan. not heard any of Tara Jane O'Neil's solo though, yet. was there anything else after Rodan that I haven't mentioned that's worth checking out?
|
Sharks And Sailors!!!!!!!!!!!! June of 44 rule.
Sonora Pine are probably worth checking out, they're actually kind of a weird band at times... I also really remember liking Retsin's "Egg Fusion" (that's all I've heard by them though). |
Candlemass - Nightfall
I don't know, maybe I'll get Epicus Doomicus Metallicus if I find it and I'm in the right mood. |

ah yeah, i've heard of Rachels but not listened to them. i'll check it out, and Sonora Pine too because I quite dig that name for some reason... cheers.

steely dan-katy lied (i had pretzel logic in the past too but traded that piece of shit in)
i know they are like tyhe epitome of lame in the eyes of most self respecting punk rocker, but i am not a punk rocker, and i think the instrumentation and arrangements on that album are about as perfect as one will ever hear in pop music. the screamers-demos (they dont have shit else) stevie wonder-innervisions (i think i want to get talking book though). innervisions is perfect, just godamned perfect. i like it more than sly stone's "theres a riot goin on", my other fave funk album. only funk i like better is parliament, but thats because they are like a fucked up conceptual drug funk band, yknow? but stevie's voice makes me wanna cry, the track "jesus children" is my favorite song for drunken karaoke. |

it's alright man. A lot of people completely ignored the topic. I gave up a while ago. |
Pink Floyd - Dark Side of the Moon. Loved it, but other albums got in the way of me buying more Pink Floyd albums.
|
Comus - First Utterance
