Have we missed one or what?

Semperet 05.01.2009 06:29 PM

Strictly speaking it began last night, but that's not quite the fuck up to which you allude. Given that there's more than one interpretation to the preceding post, then, who's fucking up the thread now?
Anyway, I'm enjoying it whenever I'm watching it. I'm even warming to Lily Allen, I think. Maybe it's the gin.

stu666 05.01.2009 06:31 PM

Teen Age Riot!

Semperet 05.01.2009 06:31 PM

Right. It's on NOW and they're playing Teenage Riot. Stop the bickering and rejoice!!!

greedrex 05.01.2009 06:33 PM

lucky bastards
can't watch it here
i'm pretty confident this will be on the toob by tomorrow.

stu666 05.01.2009 06:37 PM

haha! that was fookin' great, i didn't expect teenage riot.

Clive 05.01.2009 06:39 PM

Yeah, i well wasn't expecting Teenage Riot!

Do you want me to put it on Youtube tomorrow?

h8kurdt 05.01.2009 06:39 PM

Pretty damn cool I gotta say. And on Lily Allen, she is HOT

greedrex 05.01.2009 06:40 PM

o please do.
that'd be great.
especially Antenna

Danny Himself 05.01.2009 06:41 PM

Her eyes are too far apart. And she's stupid. Not hot.

Semperet 05.01.2009 06:42 PM

Loved it. Thurston closely miked (this is Teenage Riot I'm talking about) and band back to a four piece with Kim on bass. Not really au fait with the live band--been a while--they sound great and on the money with the two guitar lines working well together. I've got to see them this time round; It's been way too long.
No details about a rebroadcast on the BBC website, but the three songs are well worth seeking on youtube. The one from Tuesday was certainly sent to me earlier today.

nononono just hot. :p

Semperet 05.01.2009 06:47 PM

And if you're still watching telly, Charles Mingus is on Sky Arts 2.
Nice!

nancykitten 05.01.2009 06:48 PM

Teen Age Riot was awesome.

Toilet & Bowels 05.01.2009 07:05 PM

i went out for a cig and missed most of teenage riot.
that's the first time i've really had a chance to scrutinize the music of lily alan and i think she embodiment of everything that is wrong with england in the 21st century. horrible soulless stuff.

Danny Himself 05.01.2009 07:12 PM

Exactly. I muted the TV whenever she came on, I can't stand anymore of that mockney faux-intelligent bullshit. I hope her and Kate Nash get in a car crash, or Adele falls on them or something.

h8kurdt 05.01.2009 07:14 PM

Meh I can take 'em or leave 'em. There are worse bands in Britain right now.

nicfit 05.02.2009 02:50 AM

4 songs??? nice.
Lucky brits.

Semperet 05.02.2009 03:13 AM

Irish, excuuuuuse me! And if H8kurdt has a quote from Fr Ted on his messages that would lead me to think s/he's got a little of the Gael in there, too. We get BBC but can't work the iPlayer on their website for some reason.

Well, lucky all of you getting BBC, then, better :D?

Can't wait for the kind help from stu/greenlight.
I don't like Jools or his interviews much, but the live performances most of the times have really good sound and are nicely shot.

stu666 05.02.2009 04:39 AM

I didn't upload this and don't know what the quality is like but i'm trying to upload the entire show to Demonoid now.

Clive 05.02.2009 04:43 AM

I'm now uploading the other two videos to Youtube. I've gotta go to band practice now, but i'll leave my laptop on, so check back in an hour or so they should be there. :)

greenlight 05.02.2009 04:45 AM

oh shit...yes. so thanks for the link. are you uploading it on Demonoid as well? in what format?

stu666 05.02.2009 04:53 AM

I'm uploading the vob files, but this is the full show so you'll have to fast forward the bits you don't like. DVD quality.

Derek 05.02.2009 04:56 AM

Ah shit... I saw Sacred Trickster when I was watching it but fell asleep before Teen Age Riot!

Hopefully it'll be youtubed soon. Get on it SYG! :)

niiiice!
The WMV video on demonoid sounds good, the video is in a bit of a strage AR (856x480) and not exactly "sharp".
There's no What We Know, though, did they broadcast just this new 3 songs stint? Would be nice to have all 4 songs in dvd quality (ha ha , pretty obvious) and author a mini-dvd with menus and stuff :D:p:o:cool:

stu666 05.02.2009 05:26 AM

She's repulsive.

Derek 05.02.2009 06:46 AM

I'd still bang her.

sarramkrop 05.02.2009 06:49 AM

She needs to go. Please make her go away.
