In a forest ... with the Cure as support playing A Forest.

I saw SY in a small/medium club (Arena, Brisbane) and that was sensational.

Just somewhere within driving distance and I'd be happy.

Alongside a Mark Wallinger exhibition would be good. A joint thing.

On second thoughts, just alongside their own artwork - Kim's is really nice in my opinion.

in an open space. lots and lots of amps circling the crowd so the sound just washes over your body like an ocean of...sound. the band would play in the middle of the crowd and enjoy the sound as well.

My favorite:
First Avenue, a dirty minneapolis club with everything painted black that used to be a bus station (close to a train station) Seen them many times there.
Me rockin' the place just last night:

That sounds great. I love going to a building that's been adapted, rather than built specifically. Whether it's a music venue, an art gallery, a museum, a cafe, or whatever, when it's been converted from an old church or warehouse (or anything else) it feels more intersting.

A Roman amphitheatre - a Pink Floyd @ Pompeii kinda thing.

The public toilets opposite the local library.
