you're right about that. probably because i don't really care about anything enough to display the normal spectrum of human emotions or value my own opinions, but that's a topic for another day. or never, because i don't really find it to be interesting enough to carry on a conversation about. i'm done now.

Somehow, I pegged you with a more rocker look. You look more indie.

I'm sorry. I meant no offense. I just couldn't help but see the resemblance. It wasn't a slight against you.

hey, my mom looks just like that. thanks

Cantankerous 03.31.2008 03:47 PM

no, she actually doesn't. there is a resemblance obviously but your mum doesn't have horseface or ginger hair.

Rob Instigator 03.31.2008 03:48 PM

my mom also has not had repeated rounds of plastic surgery, but she looks just like carol burnet. especially when they were both younger

Cantankerous 03.31.2008 03:49 PM

i think those horse teeth are veners
your mum's face doesn't annoy me (a la ms burnett), but she looks like she could probably yell at me and make me cry.

Rob Instigator 03.31.2008 03:50 PM

you got it.

haahah!

carol looks fucking gross as shit nowadays though, you are very right.

shameless blog plug. not only a review by yours truly, but a nice mix of
pics snapped by both patrick and myself on our respective cameras.

the naming rights are still up for grabs...i vote for, "five guys nationals
park"

ha ha-- they have five guys at the airport now.

was there last weekend (easter) & patrick said you were in hagerstown-- so you missed AMT @ the rocknroll hotel? :(

anyway-- i know little about baseball (ha) but i like the stadiums. i'll go read now!

jennthebenn 03.31.2008 09:12 PM

Yeah, I had some things to help my mother with that weekend. Boredoms
at the 9:30 this Thursday will make up for it. Why the hell aren't you coming
out for that one? :p

davenotdead 03.31.2008 09:17 PM

oh man jenn... i want to be at that show so bad.... 10 hour drive is too much though... and on thursday... its depressing... plus brian chippendale will be there, so i am thoroughly sad

btw lovely blog post, lots of fun to read, and i almost teared up at the mention of ben's chili bowl half smokes. i have so many memories of eating there at 3am watching the crackheads (this was before u street was gentrified). good times!

anyway, what was the story, mmm, i forgot-- o yes-- gonna aX you if you guys are familiar with the quarry house in silver spring? oooh you must-- they have the most incredible blue cheese dressing on the chicken wings and great beers and an awesome jukebox and... just a cool little bar.

yeah we just went for the easter weekend. worked friday & left sunday. :(

but it was AWESOME!!!!

it was a restaurant tour of dc, kicked off with city lights of china (it's smaller now!). saturday we managed to go to the hirshhorn for the film exhibit which was awesome. got plastered with friends, ended up at kramerbooks, brunch & we were gone. it was so short, but wow, we were so excited to be there, it hasn't worn off yet.

tried to go past mount pleasant (a friend was driving us) but the street was blocked because of the fire so we didn't go. it was all so quick...

anyway, as i was saying to jenn, we're planning our return-- oh yes-- we just need lots of money :D
