In any case, for now they're giving music away on Bandcamp: "samplers", "edits", "excerpts", all for a name-your-price or just plain ol' free downloads:

Turns out that this (which can be streamed already) is only a fraction of what's really coming. Numero Group will release a box set of recordings from 1985, when the band not only was a hurricane category fuck-you but also had real tunes galore. Should be the shit.

Uhh... While SYG was completely inaccessible, some good stuff was announced. From what I remember right now:

David Bowie - I Can't Give Everything Away [2002-2016] (13CD or 18LP box, September 12)

Squanderers - Skantagio (August 22)

Neko Case - Neon Grey Midnight Green (September 26)

NOICE. I hope there will be a CD version - a triple vinyl is gonna be expensive as heck to ship to my location..

Mono has finally released the vinyl edition of their third Christmas EP

Looking forward to new albums of:
Afsky
Bettie Serveert
Chantal Acda

A B C, not going to do the entire alphabet -)

Not really sure if they will come, but the first will tour Europe in the Autumn.
The second released a single a few weeks back, which is a bit boring but hey still curious what the album will bring.
The third will release a new album on September 19, The Whale. That vid gives snapshots of all songs. She already released two singles in the last couple of months, and those are amongst the best of her work.

The Soup Nazi 07.23.2025 03:18 AM

Flock Of Dimes - The Life You Save (October 10)

The Soup Nazi 07.23.2025 09:03 PM

Daniel Johnston - In The 20th Century (16-cassette box set). October 31, but if you really want it preorder it now - the 999 copies are gonna fly off Joyful Noise's shelves...

The Soup Nazi 07.25.2025 02:45 AM

Kara-Lis Coverdale - A Series Of Actions In A Sphere Of Forever. September 12, second LP this year!

Toilet & Bowels 07.25.2025 07:40 PM

Toilet & Bowels 07.27.2025 04:27 AM

For the Wendy Eisenberg fan(s) here she has a newish band called Squanderers with David Grubbs and Kramer, they put out an LP in December last year and have another one coming out in August.

Also 2 Shadow Ring LPs are being reissued next month, Hold on to ID and Waxwork Echoes

Hmm, doesn't look like the box will be out this year. Numero say they "are getting closer to envisioning a proper physical project but still some more work to be done to unearth enough stuff to properly follow up Savage Young Dü". For now, there's another streaming-only EP: Nov. 3, Salt Lake City.

I wasn't giving you shit, I was genuinely curious if you buy or listen to all the albums you post in this thread and when you ignored the question it made me ask it repeatedly.
