Rain On Tin.

lunberg 08.29.2006 04:47 PM

there are too many good songs with jim to choose from.

I guess right now I'd say Rain on Tin too.
Unmade bed is one of the coolest song they've done in years, thanks to that 3 guitar combo.

porkmarras 08.29.2006 04:50 PM

Karen Revisited
If only they would have learned a lesson from this.........

lunberg 08.29.2006 04:53 PM

Listen to the way the song ends and if you know a bit more about O'Rourke's music and musical whereabouts previous to joining the band you might figure it out.

Toxa 08.29.2006 05:16 PM

stones.

Three candidates: Rain on Tin, I Love You Golden Blue, Disconnection Notice.

nature scene 08.29.2006 08:59 PM

karen revisited

Cantankerous 08.29.2006 09:03 PM

i love you golden blue

schizophrenicroom 08.29.2006 09:12 PM

i love you golden blue, unmade bed, karenology

HaydenAsche 08.29.2006 09:50 PM

Karen Revisited.

habibtheantiamericanbitch 08.29.2006 10:01 PM

NYCG&F.....the song and the whole brilliant fukking record/tour. end of story.

Asim 08.29.2006 10:09 PM

Karenology, best song of this decade, nonetheless since Dirty Boots with SY disco.

Moshe 08.30.2006 12:56 AM

rain on tin

acousticrock87 08.30.2006 01:55 AM

When it comes to post-94, I strongly prefer Lee's songs. The 'current' SY sound I think fits his poetic style very well. So, Karen Revisted. But I'm really not sure how much Jim affects it. I'm just picking my favorite song from those three CDs.

greenlight 08.30.2006 04:49 AM

yeah, definitelly nyc+ghost, nyc rhymes. side 2 side live is amazing (jim on bass with laptop), karen.., dissconnection..., whole nurse....a lot stuff.

porkmarras 08.30.2006 04:57 AM

You might as well have said the entire output of SY with Jim O'Rourke then.

greenlight 08.30.2006 04:59 AM

yes, it's hard to pick one.

guitarpro 08.31.2006 05:47 PM

Stones

top 40 squeeze 08.31.2006 06:32 PM

I've got to cast my vote for Rain on Tin.

habibtheantiamericanbitch 08.31.2006 06:51 PM

rain on tin.....what a jumpy, spritely hippie jam.....

disconnection notice......what a tired, washed-up sounding, but thankfully non-prophetic little shit song..... thurstie's lyrics the past few years have been beyond sub-par.....

Illsonicyouryouth 09.01.2006 12:05 AM

disconnection notice , I sing that one all the time.

krastian 09.01.2006 01:41 AM

Glad to see some other Stones lovers here!!! Holla.

o o o 09.01.2006 06:03 AM

rain on tin or karen revisited

Tokolosh 09.01.2006 06:07 AM

Everything he did with them was great. Brilliant musician!!

Washing Machine 09.01.2006 06:55 AM

Too many! But if I had to chose I would go with either 'Radical adults lick godhead style', 'Dripping Dream' or 'I love you golden blue'

Fox 09.01.2006 09:16 AM

NYC Ghosts & Flowers. In fact, it's maybe my favorite Sonic Youth song.
