Thanks for posting this, well worth a watch for anyone interested in the bands guitars, amps, effects pedals, recording space and recording archive.

So it's called a SLICIE! Nice! I was enthralled by Lee's sick moves with that thing when I saw him back in August.

Thanks to Lee and EarthQuaker for making this video! I just wish it was longer. Hopefully we will see a release of the SY/Nels Cline jam session soon. Thanks for posting the link.

SY/Nels SYR at Murray Street unissued reels! CGBG 1988 unissued reels! So many rad guitars/amps/pedals! After their Reverb sale I was looking up Mu-Tron Biphase and saw the company has been revived to some degree and is reissuing smaller versions of their classics in limited number. Just watched this for the first time. Archives scene has royally blown my tiny mind. A few observations/questions:
- when's SYR10 with Nels coming out then?
- I'm slightly stunned that there are AOL Session masters
- what on earth were Faerie Sessions? Sort of imagining a Noho Furniture Sessions kind of etymology, but haven't even heard of them before
- two reels labelled Evol outtakes looks tasty
- there is a box in the tapes section labelled things behind the sun + demonlover + Brigitte. Always knew they were broadly contemporaneous, interesting that they all live together in the same box. Still being prepped for that release..?
