Referencing the label on the first side of the Ripped LP: Anybody know why it says that?

They're all thinking "damn, Richard had the right idea" so they're gonna break up and each pursue a career in acting.

My brother thinks it's what lee really looks like (under his costume) and he's leaving sonic youth.

Also they're not breaking up, if you read some of the Rather Ripped interviews they say it never even crossed their minds :)

They're going to drop the "Sonic" and just go by Youth from now on. They figure they might be able to retain their youthfullness for eternity that way.

It's true. Sonic Youth are breaking up and reforming as a Swedish clog dancing outfit called "Feel-jat!"

I wonder if it's somehow linked to Goodbye 20th Century. Some inside joke revolving around that. Maybe also having to do with O'Rourke.
