I confessed the feelings I've had building up for nigh on three years to the person I'd honestly consider the love of my (short) life. Unsurprisingly, they were too taken aback to know how to respond - fearing that response was why I'd kept it in for so long - and I wanted to curl up in a ball and not feel anything for a while. 'Twas the only way I'd ever get catharsis, though.

someone sent me that picture earlier. i thought it was funny, but doing a search for the origins of the phrase i found it on all sorts of corny merchandise online. which was sad, lol
