Does anybody here use adobe audition 2.0?

and when i try to activate an error message appears.

adobe audition is what used to be cool edit pro. it is a good editor but not that great for recording. for recording i would recommend something like cubase, digital performer or protools.

and please post these type of questions in the non-sonics part of the forum

adobe audition is the latest version of cool edit pro, adobe bought it a few years ago

Adobe Systems Incorporated acquired the technology assets of Syntrillium Software in May 2003. On August 18th, 2003 Adobe released a rebranded version of Cool Edit Pro 2.1 as Adobe Audition™ software.

i know

i meant that since i don't know if there were any upgrades or tweaks on the program after being bought, but the one i use is awesome. if audition had some adjustments or add ons that screwed the recording quality, then it sucks because cool edit pro is very good at that.

that's what i meant
