it won't happen. i remember when i lived in key west when nurse came out and i was hoping they'd have a show in florida. but they didn't. because florida sucks. the keys are cool, but florida sucks. sorry.

Yes, that was the last time they were here. And that was as an opening act for Pearl Jam. Before that, the last time they were here was the Dirty tour.

Many bands avoid Florida because it is out of the way. I know Thruston used to live in Coral Gables... maybe that's why SY never comes down.

Word has it that "Flo-Rida" is opening...

the only way to get into florida is to go south to it and the only way to go to anywhere else (unless you're going to raft to cuba and play a show there) is to turn around and make the same drive up north. i'm sure it's pretty annoying and could be a waste of time.
