If SY announce their last ever gig in NYC...

...and you live abroad, would you go?

I won't think about it twice. I'll buy my ticket and book a flight in the blink of an eye.

You?

EvdWee 11.16.2011 08:58 AM

Glad to hear you've got quite a lot of spare money.
I couldn't afford it.

Pelle 11.16.2011 10:23 AM

Totally would..

E. Noisefield 11.16.2011 10:33 AM

Um. Fuck yes. Fucking Fuck yes.

No idea how I'd get there. I've got some sick time saved up, and a vacation day or two. Oh! I could have carpel tunnel surgery!! Then blast of to NYC the next day dosed out on morphine and neuronitn.

So yes.

Genteel Death 11.16.2011 11:29 AM

Nah.

PAULYBEE2656 11.16.2011 11:35 AM

probably if close by like europe but not to the states.

sianspheric 11.16.2011 12:49 PM

maybe.

watching the video of that "final" show in Brazil was pretty brutal though, they are not sounding particularly tight live these days.

I've seen the band 5 times, but the last time was at Coachella in 2007, they've never blown me away life, so I'd go to a final SY show for purely sentimental/nostalgic reasons.

jennthebenn 11.16.2011 01:03 PM

All of you saying "No" would miss out on seeing me, also. Come on, that's
gotta seal the deal.

nicfit 11.16.2011 01:20 PM

Well, they should offer trip+accomodation to all the good guys on here.
I'm in that category, FYI.
Yes I am.
I am.

Right! OK then!

EVOLghost 11.16.2011 03:37 PM

Uhh yeah, I'd sell my body to see SY one last time.

Decayed Rhapsody 11.16.2011 03:42 PM

Since I live here I'd probably go.

RanaldoNecro 11.16.2011 04:51 PM

I would.

Inhuman 11.16.2011 05:48 PM

Totally! Would be great to see em in NYC again. Jenn, Pat, RanaldoNecro, and Dave would all prolly 2nd that after seeing them last time!

Aaaadrpk 11.16.2011 06:00 PM

Where was the bass melody on the intro to Brave Men Run?

Sounded totally off to me, but maybe I just saw bad footage. Not that that makes any sense. Songs always sound different live, but they were hitting an altogether different note than on record/previous performances. One note is a conservative estimate.
