According to a post on the Neil Young Rust List, Steve joined Lucinda Williams for one song during her show in NYC last night...

That's just weird!? I didn't think anyone ona Niel Young list would go see Lucinda Williams!

Well there's a Townes Van Zandt link between them. And she had Yo la Tengo play with her too. She's clearly no stranger to the arty side of town.

Really? She opened for Neil on at least the Greendale tour in 2003, and I'm pretty sure that wasn't the first time. I don't recall offhand but I think he may even guest on one of her records...

I would think Lucinda Williams and Neil Young would be a natural. That lady got some real soulllllllll
