you can buy videos in wmv format from the basement site, but I guess the digital tv broadcast will be better (and recorded)

I've got Sky Arts (I live in the UK; full Sky Digital subscription) but I don't know how I'd go about recording it other than via good ol' VHS.

How much are the .WMVs and how much DRM dogshit do they come attached with?

so, my workmate has a whole skype package. he wont be home on saturday, but he'll ask his dad to record it straight onto dvd. so if this will work out, I could be seeding it on tuesday. I'm sure somebody might be faster tho.

Hey-hey, Tuesday's fiiine if we're talking DVD/near-broadcast quality. Best I can do is a late-eighties-style VHS job.
