it's not so much the soldering but the number of hours it will take, it isn't a simple fix a cable solder but it isn't a difficult solder either. just labor intensive. i may buy a kit myself...

how long would it take to make them up?

probably around 4-5 hours i would say for someone skilled, 8-10 for unskilled.

jeez. I guess I should start looking up nice recipes to pursuade boyshape into spending one of his days off doing this.

i just think its silly, and i doubt using his name would be near as silly. [unless his name is Bilbo or Nugget]. if it doesn't bother him it doesn't bother me

yeh that's pretty much what I was/am going to do, there are solar sets now so I was just going to hack the stake off a solar collector and hook it up to the back.

While I was googling to see if anyone had done it in interesting ways I found this though!
