He was born in Florida, so I would imagine he harbors at least an affection
for the place. Even if SY steadfastly refuse to play there anymore, or so it seems.

Think he was born in Coral Gables. They have not played here since I was too young to go to thier shows:(

Looks about 90 mins from NYC on metro north - its really quite doable just you might miss the end of the Watt set, and wouldn't it suck to read the board the next day and see that T joined them for an encore - thats a super busy week here in NYC, Bardo Pond, mv/ee, haunted House

Guess I know what you mean. I can walk to the club, which is, I guess a payback for all of times I've had to schlep to NYC to see shows.

should I get thiere early or late? I rarely get to go to shows. 1 show we got in early for the sound check. the next we waited 4 hours for the main shit.

My experience is that they run a pretty tight ship at the club. Depends on if you want to see the other openers. If not I'd shoot for 9:30 or so. I doubt it will sell out.

I was thinkin of waiting out the openers. Its a bitch waiting in the crowd. I got my tickets already so I am not much worried about that part. Thnks;)

bt: there's an OK Irish-type bar around the corner if you are looking to chill a bit before the show. It's called The seven Seas.
