Anyone read David Quantick's book 'Revolution: The making of The Beatles' White Album'? Its quite intresting but Quantick has the most annoying habit of presenting his opinions as fact.
|
I need to read it. It's my favorite album, double or not.
I've got a ridiculous amount of alternate versions from the White Album though. I once shared a 4-cd compilation of them from various bootlegs. I would be sweet if someone that got that from me could pay it back in kind right now. I see that porkmarras is showing his ass again and even more so than usual. I mean what does it mean when someone badmouths The Beatles and sings the praises of shit like (insert crap performer(s) here) & Justin Timberlake? |

Please excuse my insensitivity, but we're clearly dealing with a headcase here, folks.
I'll kindly agree to disagree and cease and desist. |

Yeah The White Album is my favourite Beatles album (and as such in my top 5 albums probebly). Whenever you think you're getting good at writing songs and composing you put The White Album on and get instantly put in your place. I would also like to take this oppotunity to profess my love for the wonderful Yoko One who presided over the insane and brilliant 'Revolution 9'
