re: the strip on the back, that looks like "CGCDF#D 12-3-4-5-2 FMC tuning" (feel free to correct me if you see something else) -- I remember wondering about this when I took the picture, but never really figured out what the "FMC tuning" might refer to...

so you can see where it's been used within sonic youth. i'm sure he's used it for some other shows/projects too, but what's FMC...? any theories?
