Doesn't this very misconception of Goo somehow being a 'dangerous' album make turning its cover into a tote bag such an inevitability?

There's been nothing remotely subversive about Sonic Youth since they decided to ditch the title 'A Vote For Jesse' (which wouldn't have been that subversive a title anyway) in favour of the far more cuddly 'Daydream Nation'.
