Though Daydream Nation was the first album I enjoyed by the Youth, I wasn't very receptive to the rest of the discography until I got Evol which lead the way to everything else. Because of that, I feel like I have a closer connection to Evol (as I'm sure many feel) to that of Daydream though I wouldn't suggest that the songs are quantitatively better.

"Shadow of a Doubt" is still one of the most beautiful songs I've ever heard.
