they were, seemingly, deliberately using a lot of bands that were popular in the early 90's. even though they existed a bit before...sonic youth and dinosaur both thrived during the early 90's alternative/grunge thing for sure....

i think its weirder that sonic youth are on the end of days soundtrack. cheesy arnold movie...
