I just wouldnt know how to walk up to one of them without feeling like a dork. I wonder if they know that is the way a lot of people feel. I mean, if Thurston told me to f*ck off, then Id probably feel like an idiot for years. Its a scary thing. Do you know how hard it is being a grown man and still feel like a kid that wants to have a part of their shoelace or something stupid like that? You keep telling yourself that you arent that lame yet.... I guess that is the idol syndrome or something. I think this entire American idol phase the country is going though has tainted it. I think theyd probably respect someone who runs into them on the street and just says "whats up Thurston" or "Hey Kim" and keeps walking like they are just like anyone else.
