Kim talks a bit about the video. She's asked about mtv banning Death Valley '69 and relates how mtv rejected Teen Age Riot initially based solely on the title. So she talks about how mtv expected the video to be about protesting and have footage of actual riots haha (like pork wants to also...he made a post the other day about how he likes to watch riot footage)...anyway, Kim expresses shock at this, since, as she relates, they had set out to do a more conventional video and just show clips featuring their heroes. Sonic Youth were forced to remove one brief flash featuring the words "Legalize Pot" for the mtv version.

There's a few alternate diy Sonic Youth-related videos over at that wacky tube place. I noticed a couple for some Thurston solo the other day and there's even one with the first five minutes of Sonic Death as its audio.
