I've been both in montana and idaho with my parents going hiking in the national parks... yellowstone, many glaciers, grand teton!
of montana I remember a small town kinda worldwide famous for its raspberrymilkshake--good ones!
those national parks are wonderful.
and then later from many glaciers we went by car to alberta.. oh, it was so nice to see kilometers-speaking people again.

hey, man, there's nothing wrong with miles (aside from the fact that they're a part of a completely inferior system of measurement).
and i actually live in the northern part of Idaho, where they don't grow potatoes.
