i think "DAPPERS" was a casette release a few years ago featuring Thurston and his brother along with other Moores' in an improptu marching band at a family reunion. i shit you not. Thats what I recall, though my memory may be addled by long term sleep deprivation. I was impressed by this info, but never heard it. I think "I painted my teeth" is an early Jandek song. Jandek is the artist whose songs are covered most often by marching bands. Dude knocked J.P. Souza out of the top spot. word.
