Destroyed Room and Helen Lundeberg/Eyeliner are my fav SY stuff this year.
As for side projects, Diskaholics Live in Japan is tremendous.
Celestial Answer, the ToL box and the New Blockaders/Thurston/Jim disc are all great as well.
