I didn't really leave until I was twenty-fucking-nine. I did have an apartment earlier than that but I still came home every week to do laundry.

That was among the reasons I moved to Alaska--a really long laundry commute. But I must say I got along much better with my mom 5000 miles away. I really needed to live on my own. Got married, got divorced and now I live a mile away from her. But will probably be moving again sometime soon. The weather here is really miserable after Anchorage.
