I saw them at No Fun this year - musically I thought they sounded ok, but I was put off by the constant effects on the vocals.

Let's see.. I think they've got a chrome thing going on (as well as some solo helios, like LACTATING PURPLE) but aren't as wild; I can also even hear traces of some of the less noisey SIX FINGER SATELLITE material (for example, some of the more restrained tracks on LAW OF RUINS). I still find em pretty original though. It's a cool sound.
