The Pipettes are fun ... I saw them last year on a summer festival and I loved their concert. Catchy, funny and amusing.

A lot of The Cure's singles seemed like really good pop to me - The Love Cats, Just Like Heaven etc. The 2 singles compilations are very good.

i also reccomend a lot of disco: andrea true connection - more, more, more the trammps - disco inferno etc. all the disco hits were fantastic.
