Plus, you can sneak in audiovisual material on Bandcamp as well, as this proves:
https://circuitdesyeux.bandcamp.com/...gaia-infinitus "The download version has a five-song track list, and also includes video file (which is 1.39 GB)." By the way, there are still seven copies of the limited LP + DVD available! GET IT!

That's some pretty off-the-scale pretentiousness. Let's see how it looks... 'Let it be known that I (Diesel) once walked the Earth and chose to shitpost my way through life...' As suspected the quote looks awful. Fucking rife! Not buying. |

I listened to a live stream of this show, i quite enjoyed it at the time and was surprised to read negative reviews - because it was an "experimental" (i.e. no songs) set. Looking forward to hearing it again. |

Sonic Youth's FLACs on Bandcamp are 16/44.1? (I still don't know; by the time their Bandcamp operation started I had ran out of money ![]() Nugs 16/44.1: $9.95 Bandcamp ?: $11.00 Nugs 24-bit: $12.95 To determine the reason, you have to factor in of course the platform's fees and, uh, other vicissitudes of the modern world or summat ANYWAY, I have downloaded tons of 24-bit tunes from Bandcamp; the thing, to quote Forrest Gump, is you never know what you're gonna get! With some exceptions: Jim O'Rourke's sleep like it's winter is listed as a 24/48 album, and Intakt is the only label I've come across there which makes available their releases in different resolutions - with a significant price difference. For instance, Ingrid Laubrock + Kris Davis' Blood Moon is $9 in 16-bit, $15.80 in 24/96. Ouch.

With all due respect to anyone making the suggestion, why Germany 1996? Literally the most commonly bootlegged show in basically perfect quality, on video even... why not another lesser known Washing Machine gig, perhaps one with an encore. The Easter set is unbelievably good, but they were on fire for that entire tour - I'd love to hear something else, maybe deeper. This is the last Washing Machine era gig and that's a great set list, plus a potential early "Sunday"! Actually, it's kinda light on Washing Machine material, so maybe something from the fall '95 North American theatre tour. If they have board tapes of those I'll bet there's some gooood ones...
As for the L.A. '98 shows, I believe the taper has already shared the other two nights (one audio, one video)? I would love to hear something from the February '99 tour, the mix of A Thousand Leaves w/ oldies is perfect. Even the Hammerstein show from the same month, which is also pretty readily viewable, would be a fantastic show to release.

Available later tonight (June 5)
New and exclusive to bandcamp—a live recording of the first and only concert by the Supreme Indifference, the trio of Kim Gordon (guitar, vocal), Jim O’Rourke (synth), and Alan Licht (vocal). Previously only convened for a studio session that produced two obscure compilation tracks, Kim, Jim and Alan took the stage at Issue Project Room back in 2003, joined by their friends Chris Corsano (drums) and Tim Barnes (drums), for a breathless twenty-minute No Wave electronic freakout. alanlicht.bandcamp.com |
