'Odelay!' re-issue liner notes - Page 3

Are there records Thurston won't write liner notes for? I suppose at least it's not 'free-form poetry' as first advertised, but I really don't see the point when somebody like Steve Hanft or Ross 'The Enchanting Wizard of Rhythm' Harris could have written notes. Somebody who knew Beck before he was somebody to know. Maybe even Beck himself? I'm sure it would be interesting to see how he felt about his earlier work now that he's become what he is.

Actually, no- Jon Spencer would have been better. I want the lyrics to 'Diskobox' and I'm sure only he could transcribe them.
