Dear Sonic Youth,

Do you find this thread as weird and stalker-like as I do?

I love y'all, and I'm sorry that one of my first 25 posts wasn't a personal question for or about you, but the part of me that feels less than a total fanboy is overshadowed by the creepiness of most of these inquiries.

I've been hearing for two years now (ever since Pearl Jam came in 2005) that Sonic Youth would visit South America -along with the Pixies (hahahwell, I think that was just an utopia..) but anyway, I'd like to know if they're actually planning any touring round here (PLEASE) or if it's just a rumor which remains far from being true. thankyou.

Last year i was delighted to HEAR ABOUT sonic youth touring half of australia. However living on the other half, it made it rather hard to fly 5000 kms.

COME TO PERTH!!!!!!!

I recall that back in the early 90s I read an interview which said that one of SY's favorite snacks was banana slices on Nilla wafers. I can't believe I remember that. It was a Tiger Beat moment.
Anyway, I was going to make you guys a kickin' banana/pudding/Nilla wafer dessert and bring it to the Allentown show last year but then I thought that you might be afraid that I was a crazy fan trying to poison you. Although you might have been better off with my vittles b/c I heard everyone got food poisoning at the Fair.
To turn this into a question - what's the weirdest thing a fan has ever given you?
BTW, do we ever get answers to any of these questions?

I'm feeling sorry for myself and people in propinquity, so I must ask the most asked question... Why don't you like the Northwest? The people that stole your guitars deserve something very bad, but most of us here had nothing to do with that. Please come and grant us your audience, you come here too rarely. Portland, Seattle, The Gorge, Olympia, Vancouver, please, oh, please, somewhere within a few hours from Seattle. I'll bring you redvines and snickers!

I saw them in Atlanta not to long ago, they played the 40 Watt in Athens on the murry street tour, which was pretty cool seeing how that was such a small venue.
