PRETTY FUCKING DIRTY NORTH AMERICAN TOUR

Following tours with bands like Nirvana and Mudhoney, Sonic Youth cooked up a batch of loud, rockin' tunes for their Dirty LP, then toured North America for a month (following a June/July mini-tour of sorts). Performing with more "lo-fi" bands like Pavement, the Boredoms, and Cell would help shape the minimalistic sounds of their next record, Experimental Jet Set, Trash and No Star.
