NOTES:
This was Kim's primary bass during the early-mid 80s. I've always said that Kim had two of these, and that the second one had a sliding pickup and an on-board graphic EQ. I think that info came via "official" means, but I also think all pictures shown depict the same bass, contrary to what I'd reported before. I don't know if there really is a second one. This one started with a label from side 1 of the Confusion is Sex vinyl, then got a Gizmo sticker, then she added some of those horror movie stickers, including PSYCHO III, and then a foil "KISS ME" heart sticker over Gizmo. Ben Dyment and RJ Mills both sent me pictures that they took of Kim's bass at the Metropolitan Museum of Art "Play it Loud!" exhibit in 2019 - you can see pretty clearly what it looked like at the end!
For a while it lived at the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in Cleveland, Ohio.
