    NOTES:

  • Previously listed as "Fender Duo Sonic", the general consensus amongst experts is that this was in fact a Mustang, based on the neck, tremolo, and other minor details. It's been uniquely modified with a third pickup, probably before the band acquired it. Based on the identifying elements of the body, neck, and hardware, it was pieced together from various parts (the body and neck are 60s, the serial # is 70s). It was Thurston's GDD# guitar for a few years, then F#GA. Like Lee's Thinline Tele Deluxe, the Mustang remained in the F#GA tuning for nearly a decade, before it was stolen in July 1999.
