Here's an odd one... several sources have Sonic Youth contributing "I'm On The Lamb But I Ain't No Sheep" to a Blue Oyster Cult tribute entitled "Then Came The Last Days Of May" -- unfortunately, nobody can prove it exists. My guess is, it never was released, but if somebody knows for sure please write!
Sonic Youth's fall '86 tour w/ fIREHOSE was entitled "Flaming Telepaths Tour" after a Blue Oyster Cult song -- and nearly every show on that tour ended w/ a Sonic Firehose jam on BOC's "The Red & The Black".
