NOTES
Sonic Youth provided the music for Mike Kelley's play "Plato's Cave, Rothko's Chapel, Lincoln's Profile" on December 5th, 1986 at Artists Space in NYC. An excerpt from this performance was released on a Tellus comp in 1987, and the full 38-minute performance was released on a cassette the same year, backed by another of Mike's works, "The Peristaltic Airwaves".
In 2012, this cassette was finally re-released as a double-CD, with the entire Plato's Cave performance on one disc. A video of the set was even shared online!
