NOTES:

  • Though Kim sings the studio version, the lyrics were written by Thurston and he sings on all live versions. He typically sang additional lyrics, something like "She knows how to fuck with my head, I wish she was fucking dead".
  • On the Fall '86 Flaming Telepaths tour w/ fIREHOSE, fIREHOSE would join SY for their Starpower encore almost every night (a bootleg was later released entitled "Wattpower"). Mike Watt played bass along w/ Kim, with Ed and George on horns.
  • In July 2009, the band recorded an acoustic version for the TV show Gossip Girl. The band appear performing the song in the episode "Rufus Getting Married", aired October 12th, 2009. It was also released as a single and included on vol 8 of the web-only Mix Tape series.
