  • This track was released as the b-side to SYR7, perhaps overshadowed by the infamous a-side "J'accuse Ted Hughes". There is conflicting information as to the origins of "Agnes B Musique".
  • To quote sonicyouth.com: "'Agnes B Musique' is a soundtrack-style piece recorded at the band's own Murray Street Studio in 2001 for a never-to-be realized collaboration with French clothing designer Agnes B. This 18 minute long musical piece was recorded with a 5-piece version of SY, the 4 members of SY being joined by Jim O'Rourke who also mixed 'Agnes B Musique'."
  • To quote the notes on the record sleeve: "recorded at Echo Canyon, NYC, 19th January 2003. Mixed on the 4th of July 2003."
  • I would lean towards the 2003 info being correct, simply due to the specifics.
