i've never heard any of the albums, just a couple of songs. do they have many? they do sound a bit derivative, along the lines of stereolab, but not at all unpleasant.

i just got their new album & i think it's truly lovely. the mp3s don't do it justice but try several; katie cruel is particularly haunting.

actually i think im going to turn off the computer speakers & go play that now.

I like their first albums and I own 3 7" singles by them and like them a lot. I have not heard this new one.

why do you think it is sub-par porkmarras???
