the "En" is pronounced as the french word "An" - I can't find an english word which would have that precise pronounciation somewhere

"Fait" is near "fate" (in that case)

It is way overused. It's become the new "um" or "like."

"I was actually going to the store." "I actually like that."

Sometimes it can be used for emphasis: "Do you like that?" "Actually I do!" (To emphasize that you're surprised you like it.)
