NOTES:

  • Back in the mid-80s Sonic Youth joked about covering the Beatles' White Album from front to back -- however, they only got as far as working up a supposedly pretty good version of "Back in the U.S.S.R.". Presumably Thurston sang it. Bob was on drums. It remains unreleased, however, and unfortunately probably unrecorded.
