  • Early word in 1988 on "The Bridge", a tribute to Neil Young, was that Sonic Youth would be contributing their version of "Southern Pacific", a Crazy Horse rocker from Neil's 1981 LP "Reactor". Instead SY's offering was "Computer Age", a track from Neil's 1982 LP "Trans". Southern Pacific was likely never recorded.
